Background

From New York to California

I graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Psychology and English Literature.  I completed my Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Chicago, at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. My area of focus in graduate school was Trauma and Maltreatment.  My post-doctoral internship and fellowship years were completed at Mt. Sinai Hospital and included a specialization in personality disorders and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. 

I have been on the teaching faculty at Mt. Sinai Hospital since 2006, offering classes and supervision to post-doctoral interns and fellows in psychology.
